Individual Career Attention

Our people are loyal to us because we are to them. We are committed to finding mutually beneficial solutions for our organization and our employees. CWB Group has a ‘no layoffs’ policy. If we find we are overstaffed, we respond by growing our business or by arranging moves for staff members that meet both our needs. Human Resource administrators have helped many individuals navigate circumstances to tailor their position to better accommodate their professional and personal goals. Transfers, advancement, and lateral developmental moves are all strategies we may use.
Advancement Opportunities.
We actively help you get the most from your career by conducting regular, goal-oriented reviews. Our Training and Education plans identify and mentor those who want to broaden their knowledge and skills.
Management Associate Training Program.
Prepares individuals who want to be ready to seek leadership positions within 5-10 years. This 12-15 month program is open to individuals who have an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience and education, preferably in finance or accounting. We also look for high ethical standards, a team-oriented mindset, and an upbeat, solution-focused personality. A willingness to relocate is also required. Training includes all areas of retail and commercial lending, sales, and administration. Graduates earn the position of ‘Commercial Account Manager’ and build their skills and knowledge in effective leadership.
Retail Management Associate Training Program.
This 18-24 month program recruits and develops future managers in Sales and Service or in Personal Lending. Individuals with a postsecondary education and an enthusiasm for delivering excellent service and being a leader in a team environment are considered for the program.
Entry Level Trainee Program.
Front-end and administrative positions are available to individuals with a high school diploma and a commitment to providing thorough and attentive service to clients and colleagues. Training includes approximately three months at a branch or within a department, acquiring familiarity with all aspects of a position, as well as with the wider culture and practices of CWB Group.
Orientation Program.
Welcomes new employees at all levels, familiarizing them with our culture and providing a solid foundation for more specific learning about their roles.
